TaLeah Moosman, RN
TaLeah has been a registered nurse since 2012. Her career has included working in hospitals, as a school nurse and most recently as a Public Health Nurse and Epidemiology Coordinator for the Central Utah Public Health Department (CUPHD) in a very rural part of Utah. Rural public health nursing includes working with friends, neighbors and community member. Being the epidemiology coordinator for CUPHD includes working with nurses in 6 counties in 8 county offices covering 17,000 square miles to investigate communicable diseases. Although there are lots of miles to cover, TaLeah finds her job as a public health nurse rewarding because the population in all of those miles is smaller so she has the opportunity to see first hand the rewards of her work. TaLeah also works closely with Central Utah’s emergency services team to coordinate the health department’s emergency responses in her area.
